We made it! All those of you who were convinced that bubs would arrive an interrupt turkey time… you were wrong! I’m still a giant Christmas pudding, waddling along
We had a lovely day. It was warm and sunny and really chilled. Lots of eating, sleeping, messing about with cameras and chatting to relatives on Skype
This year most people helped us out by putting money towards a digital SLR camera. Matt wanted one for Instagramming purposes and I thought it might be a good idea to get a digital video camera (a newer one) for when Bubs does arrive. You might have noticed that I have inherited mum’s need to document everything
. So, together we decided that we would pool the money we would usually use to buy each other presents and purchase a new camera. With the help of contributions from other family members we managed to get a Canon 60D and Matt’s been paparazzing everything from cats, me and ducks ever since
He’s having a great time creating RAW images that he can then play with in Photoshop. You can see his Instagram collection on the right hand side of the page
The pictures below are some of what were taken yesterday. You’ll see that we start with my iPhone and then move to the Canon
I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas day
I certainly saw a lot of small Elves on Facebook and Skype yesterday as Esme, Zoe and so many other little ones celebrated their first ever Christmas. This will be the last quiet Christmas we ever have as a couple
Next year there will be a little (nearly one year old) to share it with
Wooo hooo! Just 2 weeks to go until my due date
… unless he decides to make an appearance earlier. He’s definitely practicing breathing (via hiccups) and space is becoming more and more limited… I wonder what day he will choose
