Ikea and public transport don’t mix…

We haven’t been up to much over the last few days.  We’ve started to look for a car though.  We realised, after we’d caught the bus to IKEA, that it was probably going to be impossible to get a book shelf (which is over 2ms tall) home on the bus.  We’re looking for a cheap Hyundai lantra Wagon.  It’s the same thing we had last time.  They’re fuel efficient and reliable and will do us until we fancy an upgrade.  We’ve just got to make sure that we get one for a good price.

The mouse saga has continued.  We have now transported 7 mice to the other side of the creek.  God knows what the neighbours think is happening as we carry a small plastic tunnel over to the other side of the creek 3 times a day.  The mouse catcher text us last night at 9:20pm to ask us to call him on Wednesday morning after 9am.  That’ll make it almost a week since we asked for something to be done *sigh* It’s Australia day today though so there’s no way he’ll be coming out today!

We should be off to Elder park later to watch the parade and join in with the fireworks etc.  That should be cool.  Last time we were here on Australia day we joined the Brisbanians on the bridge and watched their fireworks.  This time we’ll be closer to home. I’ll make sure I blog away about that later 🙂

We're not around right now. But you can send us an email and we'll get back to you, asap.
